The StapStep has several modes that you can select. Determines the maximum speed of the scooter
Stand 0
You can scooter, but the motor will not support.
Stand 1:
When you scooter, the 'cruise control' sign will light up in the display and the scooter will go up to 6 km/h. You only need to step once in position 1. The electric scooter is allowed to provide continuous support with a maximum speed of 6 km/h. When you brake, the cruise control sign will disappear and the engine will no longer assist.
Stand 2:
The StapStep goes into position 2 at a maximum speed of 13 km/h. You only need to step once in position 2. If the engine offers support, the cruise control sign will light up in the display, you no longer have to pedal. After this, the scooter accelerates to 13 km/h. After 5 seconds, the motor support will stop and you will see the cruise control sign disappear again. You now have to step once again. Then the scooter accelerates again to 13 km/h for 5 seconds and the cruise control sign lights up again.
Stand 3:
The StapStep goes into position 3 at a maximum speed of 20 km/h. You only need to step once in position 3. If the engine offers support, the cruise control sign will light up in the display, you no longer have to pedal. After this, the scooter accelerates to 20 km/h. After 8 seconds, the motor support will stop and you will see the cruise control sign disappear again. You now have to step once again. Then the scooter accelerates again to 20 km/h for 8 seconds and the cruise control sign lights up again.
Stand 4:
The StapStep goes into position 4 at a maximum speed of 25 km/h. You only need to step once in position 4. If the engine offers support, the cruise control sign will light up in the display, you no longer have to pedal. After this, the scooter accelerates to 25 km/h. After 8 seconds, the motor support will stop and you will see the cruise control sign disappear again. You now have to step once again. Then the scooter accelerates again to 25 km/h for 8 seconds and the cruise control sign lights up again.
All nice, but now you want to scooter of course! Here's how to get out right away!
We explain the basics to you based on the maximum setting, namely setting 4. You step once, the cruise control sign lights up in the display and the StapStep accelerates to 13 km/h and the motor now continues to support for 5 seconds. Then the cruise control sign disappears and the support is cut off. You now step again, the sign 'ruise control' lights up again and the StapStep accelerates to 25 km/h. The step now supports 8 seconds. After 8 seconds, the cruise control sign disappears again, the engine cuts out and you are supposed to scooter again. Is the cruise control sign lit up again? Now the scooter goes 25 km/h for 8 seconds again. When you brake, the cruise control sign disappears and the engine support is immediately cut off. Then repeat the above.
